My question is why are they on the LSU recruiting board. Take this A&M crap to the Rant.
Because there is no intelligent conversation on a LOLaTm board.

Definitely agree.
I'm responding to the ridiculous assertion that A&M's 2013 defensive class is hot garbage. That's a joke. We simply don't know. And even if they pan out, we don't know whether they'll be properly developed (as you pointed out).
So we'll wait and see.

In 8 months, I was able to ascertain that Tre White and Rashad Robinson will be future lockdown corners........I was able to see that Beckwith is going to be a future NFL footballer and I was able to see that Ricky Jefferson is going to make a pretty damn good safety...........ALL freshman.
Now please tell me what you learned about that Aggie recruiting class of Defensive players?

It's not just Myles. A&m is signing like 7 other 4 star defensive players, most of whom are in the top 247.
You are gonna need them after seeing what the 2013 class has to offer.

So because some emerge as legitimate players in a very short time, any player who does not is "hot garbage"?
Interesting.
Cam Newton, JFF, Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, Vince Young--among many, many others--disagree.
Isiah Golden, Claiborne, and Daeshon Hall proved they'll be studs with seasoning. Jay Arnold and Noel Ellis performed with a lot of promise toward the end of the year. We didn't see enough of the others to even entertain this very premature assessment.
But before our 2013 defensive class turns out to be hot garbage, about a half dozen total busts will need to transpire between now and 2015. I'm really not worried.

If the freshman you played couldn't shine at any time on that Defense that yall fielded than YES I can come to that conclusion.
Isiah Golden..........Daeshon Hall.........
Look you don't have to be upset........but it's quite freaking evident two classes won't be enough.

This is the reality of it, this really doesn't belong on this board. Take it to SEC Rant or Recruiting because we don't give a shite. Don't mean to be a dick, but this is not the forum for your musings!!!!

appears the composite rankings are updated now
LINK
1. Fournette
2. Peppers
3. CRob
4. Hand
5. M Garrett
Rivals still has another update so it's not the final list but getting close as it has 3/4 done.

I use Al Woods as a pretty good example of how hard it can be to get a grip on some of the trench spots.
The staff wanted him on the OL but he never bit. He would have done pretty well on the OL but just didn't want it.
At the same time, he would have done well at the DT on a 3-4 defensive set but nevere as a Chavis DT that needed to penetrate.

I like to look at national position rank. Top 40 at your position is where you want your recruits. Top 20 is better and Top 10 or better is elite recruiting. I feel these 2013 defensive recruits are SEC caliber. Not LSU, Bama, UGA, UF, or Auburn level yet. But as good or better than the rest. And the 2014 class has more good defensive talent coming. It just takes time to build depth and get quality upperclassmen (grown men) controlling the 2 deep.
2013 24/7 composite rankings
Isaiah Golden - #6 DT in nation
Justin Manning - #9 DT in nation
Hardreck Walker - #19 DT in nation
Noel Ellis - #19 CB in nation
Tavares Gardner - #30 CB in nation
Kam Miles - #14 Safety in nation
Victor Davis - #36 Safety in nation
Darian Claiborne - #23 OLB in nation
Brett Wade - #23 ILB in nation
Jordan Mastrogiovani - #26 ILB in nation
Reggie Chavis - #38 ILB in nation
Jay Arnold - #30 SDE in nation
Daeshon Hall - #6 WDE in nation
All I did was come here to say Fournette is the best HS RB since Adrian Peterson and I can't get back out the door without mud slinging! Haha.
Enjoy your day Tigahs!!

It has always been and always will be stupid to rank players at one position against players at another position.
No it isn't. Johnny Manzel is a more valuable college player than Jerem Hill.

What is the difference between the 247 rankings and 247 composite rankings? Thanks
