Overall the early signing was not the same hype with festivities as typical. Where was the big party? Beer all day?

they will. and if Brennen or Narcisse work out we'd beat all 3 of your examples next year.

we will start with kicking Miami's arse. how's that?

At LSU, with no in-state competition, my standards are top 7 year in and out. No excuses

you really don't know much about recruiting do you? it's obvious and you are pretty much embarrassing yourself. LSU has much more competition for recruits than any of the 3 schools you cited and it's not close with 2 of them. your "standards" are based on ignorance.

Thank you for confirming that you don’t know a damn thing about recruiting. It saves many of us the trouble of bothering with your ignorance.

O hired Canada and called him a great coach

Whether he fit in here or not is certainly in question. However, he won the fricking award for best coordinator in the FBS last year. That certainly qualifies him as a solid coach, no matter what you think. Some of our fans are so myopic.

You're gonna get more upset when you realize the majority of this class is filled with players ranked in the 400s

read the remainder of my post. I agree Miami is arguable but Washington and penn state or not. just because LSU has no other power in the state doesn't mean squat. many schools are in that situation, including penn state and Washington. but Louisiana is one of the heaviest recruited states in the land and we are a small state. my point was the op thinks that we have little competition because no other big team is in the state.

I’ll take Louisiana and most of the southern states kids over any other part of the country. A four star recruit from Louisiana is probably a better football player than a five star recruit from the Pacific Northwest in my opinion, based on the competition kids in the south have to go up against as opposed to what the northern and Midwestern kids face. Recruiting rankings are relative for the most part. That doesn’t mean I want a class of all 3&2 star kids, but I’ll take southern kids over any part of the U.S all day.

my kids have cousins in Indianapolis and they came down to houston to stay with us for a few days while they ran at the Jr Olympics...they won everything up there and came down here and got smoked lmao their dad said we don't have athletes like this up there lmao

No it’s not arguable. Miami has far and away more recruiting competition than LSU.

We have very little compared to the other talent rich states. Typically LSU gets the majority of the top in state guys. The only school coming into LA and getting recruits consistently is Bama. You may have a school here and there pluck a guy or two from year to year but that’s normal. Who else is a consistent threat to LSU besides Bama?

I was asking that to the OP, but thanks for showing you are a clueless idiot just like he is.

Don't ask a question if you cant handle a response. O hired Canada. The good and bad of that hire rest on O.

If, as the story is being told here, Canada is a jerk or cant really coach or cant get along with others or cant recruit, O hiring the guy was a mistake.

Seems a valid take. Sorry if it offends you.
