Sat next to Makiya Tongue last night. He seems to be a fan of LSU. Are we really not recruiting him??? Seemed like a really nice kid.

That's great. And I did see that. I never said we don't or can't sign any of them. It just seems that LSU fails to get the majority of them. Like some of the other posters said, LSU apparently doesn't recruit all of them. I would think we would recruit every 4* and 5* in the state. I get it that the coaches have their own rankings, but I guarantee they consider the ranking services as well.
My thinking is you recruit the best available (maybe there's 15 4 and 5* guys in LA in an average year) and use the remaining scholarships to fill position needs.

Makiya wants to play offense. Georgia is gonna let him do that. I think LSU doesn't have room for a WR and wanted him to stick to defense.

Lsu could use C Harris and M Hollin bigtime imo.

I think it's mostly this. A lot of these guys have gone there for years. They've spent most of their lives on LSU's campus, it makes sense people would want to experience something else.
