The one thing I've noticed about Cam is that he doesn't hold much... If he is gonna play at Alabama early he is gonna have to learn to trust their refs and just hold guys.

LSU fans see a LT getting lit up. Bama fans didn't see any holding on the play.

Saw the highlights of Quinn from yesterday. We all knew how good he was, and he was all that was advertised going against top CBs like Nick Harvey. Trey Quinn looked fantastic. I was impressed with how well he used his arms and hands to get off the line and into his cuts and to create space. Uses the swim move over the DB when he turns, and the rip inside to get the DBs hands off him and create some space right before he made his cuts. And also knows how to use his body to create space.
He ran a post route vs Nick Harvey and it was a thing of beauty. Punched through the DBs bump at the line, swim move to get past him, and then he stemmed out like he was running a corner and put his body in front of Harveys, which puts the DB on Quinns back and creates more natural space, then cut it back inside to the post. Exactly how coaches teach it, and its rare to see a high school player execute those moves like Quinn does. And went up high and caught the ball that was high and behind him and he almost floated in the air. Kid looks great out there.
Oh, but wait! He is only a 4*.... He couldn't be that good....

Going to be a lot of butt hurt when he still doesn't get his 5*

How is that Gators team picking UP momentum after that disaster season?
Guys got down there and liked the sand?

Who knows, not sure if they are. Again, they are trailing for Carter. Maybe they get Adoree, but they wont get Willis or Adams, or Speedy for that matter. A UF commit just said FSU is the leader now. And Cooks CB is all FSU.

You don't think Quinn will receive his 5th star?
Posted on 12/31/13 at 4:13 pm to Meldedee
its funny how unafraid people are to compare other great WR recruits, who are more of projects, to the likes of Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones, yet the Quinn comparisons are so modest. So ill go ahead and ratchet it up a notch, because in all honesty, I see a little of Jerry Rice in him.

I absolutely agree! Even though he is a 4*, this kid is one of the most underrated players I a have ever seen. He has unreal ability and ridiculous hands. Jennings is going to have a special group to throw to next season!

No, no chance. I think he gets a bump, maybe a big bump, but nothing big enough to jump him 50+ spots. Especially with all the other jumps that will likely happen with other impressive showings at the All Star games.

TBH it is a damn shame! O well, Trey will use this and only work harder and be that much better. I absolutely cannot wait to see TQ and Speedy in the offense with AJ under center. Going to be a special team.

Jacory Washington has been killing it in Tampa!!! Amazing to see how good he can be with a QB. His HS team was a little lacking at this position. Also was told he and Brandon have been working Leonard and Tony, they just don't Tweet every conversation or every time they're in the presence of them like the Gumps. We need to fight off Ole Miss for JW, they're coming at him hard.
