Posted and 4.38 at the Dallas opening regional. We have offered along with a lot of other schools. If this guy gets stronger and faster he will be a tough match up for anyone.

Hope he takes a close look at the Tigers.

So you're saying this time is complete garbage if he needs to get faster to be a tough match up for anyone?

The guy is 6 foot 6 and runs a 4.3, but somehow not even a top 50 WR? Somethings not right here, or he can't catch.

Heard he's pretty good at baseball too and he's a lefty.

I'm not saying his time is garbage. I was basically saying he's about to start his senior campaign if he becomes faster that will be amazing for his size. He's a tough matchup right now but it would be amazing if his time improved.

Maybe we will move to an all 6'4+ WR corps

He still has a lot of time to rise in the rankings and he is about to get a big bump. Maybe he can't catch or maybe he didn't go to enough camps to get recognized by the recruiting sites. Pretty sure donate Jackson was ranked in the 300's going into his senior year.

I think he should put weight on or the school that gets him put weight on him to become a TE. With his speed he would be a weapon at TE.

Hand timed probably, that screws up comparisons. Probably a 4.6 in reality

The 4.38 is questionable, but his speed relative to peers, and competition, was still superior. Will he just blow by defenders like Randy Moss? Probably not, but he is big and fast enough to go over the top on defenders he is likely to face. Giving him a look and proper evaluation is surely in the interests of the LSU coaches.

Being 6'6" and having enough quickness/fast twitch to beat your peers in the 40 is a solid accomplishment and pretty rare.

Long legs don't make for quick starts usually. He would probably need to add a ton of muscle which would slow him down, but he's clearly got the athleticism.

Can he catch?

ETA:

His offer list is excellent.

And who's fault is that?? They have to start using the TE starting this season. To much talent there that is being wasted.

He doesn't look anywhere close to a 4.3 anything to me on that tape, but if he ran that electric or laser, I guess he is fast. He got offered by all the big boys after that showing according to the article.

Keep tabs on him.

Coached against him. Tall and fast obviously however not a very good route runner and hands are just okay

I would agree with this assessment. We've taking about him on 247. Watched Flowermound Marcus beat them. More of a pitch and catch, go up and get it receiver at this point.
Baton Rouge Cajun, where do you coach? In our district? My Wife's son plays for Marcus.

Dallas Opening had a lot of bullshite times. Some they knew were crap and scrapped them, others they apparently allowed. That kid is not 4.38 fast. I had a kid I coached go to that Opening and run .2 faster than he's ever run before. They even threw it out and said no way he ran that fast. His next 2 runs were .28/.32 slower.
