If OP is correct (likely a bad rumor) then he's inferring that the players are on either ND or OSU, because if they played for TX/PSU then the players would have to be in the Portal by Wednesday.
And if the rumor is right that these are starters, then that really shrinks the pool.
Anthonie Knapp is a true freshman starting at LT for ND. But we did not recruit him out of high school and I'm assuming he's Catholic. I just don't see it.
Aamil Wagner (Jr) and Guerby Lambert (Fr) are the two-deep at RT for ND.
Adon Shuler, S from ND, and Caleb Downs have both been discussed but unlikely.

Did they ever specify if it was D1 playoffs? As someone else mentioned, there is a safety from Montana State, who played in the D2 championship, that hit the portal yesterday, but he's a senior and Kelly and company have stayed away from 1 year only transfers unless they are potential difference makers.

As long as you are at 85 or under by August you are fine. I believe we could lose 3 players after Spring ball.

Technically, I don’t think you are allowed to be over 85 at any time. However, we are factoring kids who aren’t registering until Summer in that number, so we aren’t really at 85 today with just the EEs and portal guys. We can shed a few in the Spring window to make the numbers work. At least 2 or 3 who don’t make moves up the depth chart will probably leave on their own.
