Two LSU softball Signees selected to play in AA Game

Taryn Antoine and Shelbi Sunseri were chosen to represent the East team in this high school All American game.
The best players from across the country were selected to compete in this.
The nation’s best softball players in the Class of 2017 have been selected for the Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American Game on July 28. The game will be televised on ESPNU.Players on the East and West teams were chosen by a panel of experts with input from USA TODAY High School Sports, OnDeck Softball and Flo Softball.
Congratulations girls, can't wait to see y'all represent LSU soon.

can these girls hit for power or avg?

Both can hit for power and average.
Taryn is a lot like Landry in terms of hitting. She drives the ball but she does have quick hands and very explosive

I think a little friendly competition between each other would make them and the sophomores compete at a higher level. I always thought that during the time Bell and Jaquish played together I had a sense that they made each other better. The home run duels we saw and RBI race. They only need one freshman to start it and would spread through out the team.

Sunseri definitely has the capabilities to put up major numbers out the gates. She can be a girl that hits .320 + with 6-12 homeruns her freshman year.
Beth has hinted though she would come in and be an immediate impact at the plate.

I'm sure Beth will make it a major priority to develop her early next season. I'm sure she'll also see a bit of time in SEC play
