"I thought Trent Richardson was one of the most impressive looking running backs I have ever seen after watching him at Friday Night Lights in Gainesville, and Michael is right there with him."
Thanks - I hadn't seen that.

If I had to guess now... I would say he ends up at Florida. Since everyone likes arbitrary numbers, I'd say Florida (45%), Bama (35%), LSU (15%), other (5%).
Bama lock...He will come in and start immediately, have you seen our backfield?

You'd have thought Terry Grant was the second coming of Shaun Alexander

This is a Richardson Quote from BOL
quote:
"I had a lot of fun at Alabama, and right now I would say that I am solid," said Richardson. "I am still going to visit other schools, and the coaching staff knows that but right now it is early and there is nothing for Alabama fans to worry about. I committed to Alabama to win a national championship and I have become real close with some of their players and recruits. Right now, nothing has happened to change my mind about Alabama."

Quote from July 18th...

Alabama fans may not like this, but Richardson doesn't sound like he's done with this recruiting process just yet. Plenty of schools -- like Florida and LSU -- are still in hot pursuit. He is camping today at Florida before heading for the same at Alabama on Sunday. He still intends to take visits before signing in February.
"It's still kind of open, but I'm kind of moving to Alabama a little bit," Richardson said. "I had to make my commitment, though, because I didn't want to be the running back that's left out."
I asked him to put a percentage on his pledge to Alabama. He thought about it and replied, "Probably about 50 percent."

I actually almost agree with Bamascoop. Crazy huh. I dont think we land Trent Richardson. I think he wants to be the man, he wants to play and start relatively early on and make a name for himself (cant blame him). I think Florida and Bama give him the best option to do so. LSU is loaded at RB, has already recruited 2 incredible RB this year and I just dont think ole Trent is the type to want to split snaps. Only one reason he might commit to us and that is if he wants to be a part of an incredible class that he knows will compete and win every year.

He lit it up at Seminole Showtime. He is the real deal.
