Simon was never considered shutdown...TM7 was a playmaker, not shutdown. And PP7 and Mo would lock up with their receiver one-on-one with no safety help and literally take away a third of the field single-handedly...so yes there is such thing as a "shutdown corner". It's not "you cannot pass on this corner at all." It means he'll take the opposing WR away and do to him what most cannot.

He has always been one of my favorite recruits. Can't wait till he gets here and wrecks shop.

Not shocked to hear this at all, kid is a stud that gets no publicity at Green Oaks. I remember a lot of gnashing of teeth when we took his early commitment from some "experts"

Do you guys think that Tre'Davious White and Priest willis would start over our collins and mills their freshman years or even over take them the next year thats gonna be a hell of a battle then throwing rishard robinson in the mix? I would like robinson and white at corners with priest willis playing tyran mathews role roaming around. Who starts next year if we get all our guys?

If they get in camp and are better, then yes I think they would start ahead of our current returning guys. LSU has shown they have no problem moving around the depth chart and trying to play the best guys early in their careers.
