Travis Etienne Jennings High RB 2017

Stats entering tonight's game
70-609, Travis Etienne,Jennings, 12 TDs
This kid is freaking amazing. Right now against Church Point he has over 300 yards and 4 TDS. Last week against Derrider he rushed for 275 and 7 TDs (2 KO for TDs). Yes, I know some will argue the talent he's playing against, but I can assure you he's the real deal.
I believe that's his 3rd game this year with at least 200 yards and 3tds.
As a sophomore he ran for over 1,800 yards and 10 TDs. He seems to be flying way under the radar. I'm expecting him to pop up on the scene in the rankings soon. Someone get this kid to camps during the offseason.
No relation at all. Just a fan of great talent.
Just ran for his 5th TD on the night 49 yard run.

He's good and has no blocking really does a lot of his damage on his own.

5 touchdowns and 380 yards against a now 3A Church Point team. Jennings lost 62-42. Only the second time in 85 years of football has a Jennings team allowed over 60 points.
Travis Etienne's speed, cut back ability, and ability to shuck tacklers is amazing.
He's a junior. Has excellent grades. And has high character.
Will be one to watch.

Hey Lester.
Only thing I know about a black rhino is that they are rare.
Travis Etienne is black and he is approaching rare.
I saw him a make a cut tonight on the sideline that could break an ankle on most other runners.
With 4 mins to go in the game and the game out of reach for Jennings, he broke one off tackle, for about 50 yards to score.

Not to hijack the post, but etienne vs Botha (black rhino vs white buffalo) was the best nickname fight of all time. And the fight itself was pretty good too.

I went to school with his father, who goes by the name Travis also but for some strange reason they say their last names the same way but spell them different

What did the kid do against Eunice High? I'm from the area and know Eunice beat them pretty bad. I really don't know how this guy did though? I know I heard his name on the radio the night they played but didn't listen to the whole show. Eunice defense isn't very good so....

The black rhino is in Angola with something like a 100 year sentence. After he faught Mike Tyson he was Arrested for robbing a check cashing business, and other problems. I think one was kidnapping and threatening a police officer.

I'll be offshore, but I have a nephew playing in that game, so my brother will give me a good recap. We have a really good RB ourselves who's only a JR, but lacks that ideal height. Runs really hard and plays with passion and heart that the game is supposed to be played with. He's around 5'6" or 5'7" around 180 lbs. Stocky guy and hard to bring down. Being that our Jr. High and high school are connected, he was eligible to play while in jr. high. He played sparingly his 7th grade year and has been started since 8th grade. Don't bash me, I know it's a 2A school and competition isn't the highest, but he hold the school's yardage record already and could possibly get to around 7,000by the time he graduates and give Kenny Hilliard's record a scare. I'll do some double checking tomorrow to get an up to date yardage count. His name is Trey Hargrave by the way.

His Dad was a pretty good player for Jennings as well. Travis is really the only player that Jennings has now. They lost alot of defensive players from last year.

Oh ok, i stand corrected then. I was misinformed i guess. I thought is was a little strange with the last names, but then again Rodney McZeal and Brandon Maziel were brothers and had different spellings of their last names

Here is Travis Etienne's numbers through the 2015 season thus far. He is a Junior at Jennings High school (3A). He is 5'10" and 188 lbs. Speed demon who shucks off tacklers
