Top Priority from a recruit's standpoint?

Development of skills to have successful career in NFL
NIL money for instant improvement in quality of life.
Top coaching talent noted for developing successful players.
Quality education and obtaining a useful degree.
School is in it to the championship game annually.
Adjusting well and contentment with choice of school
Proximity to home and family.
All factors to consider in choosing, Which ones do you consider most important and in what order?

It better be development for the best position in the NFL draft. If it’s anything else, he’s getting bad advice. The 2nd should be his degree. What will he do after football. It really should be a 1a/1b priority.

Depends on how confident in your skills you are, your family’s economic situation and so on…
Not every recruit will have the same set of priorities.

Depends on the recruit.
Sometimes it's an immediate bag - which we're all a little insensitive to. We act like every kid wants to drive a lambo but for some of them it might change their family's situation.
Some are about playing at a top tier program they dreamed of growing up.
Some are about wanting to win. They want to go somewhere that's going to be competing for championships and that's priority one.
Some are about development. Which coaching staff is going to maximize my potential and get me ready for the NFL.
Some are about relationships. Some kids really strike a bond with a coach (usually a position coach) and that outweighs anything else.
And then probably like 8 kids in the entire class are looking for which school can give them the best education and prestigious degree.

There's probably no wrong way of ordering the priorities. Just like everything in life. Basically boils down to if your thinking and work ethic will best maximize short term or longer term goals. But a culture/campus fit could go a long way to maximizing your potential, not unlike anyone here's college/post-college experiences. Bad fit on campus or at a job can limit your potential.

For top recruits it should be
#1) development for the pros (this includes coaching and playing time)
#2) NIL
If there's more playing time at a school but less NIL then choose the play time.
NIL first guys will always be in the transfer portal and their NFL stock will suffer.

This is a REALLY broad question. It completely depends on the recruit.

Most recruits don’t take the biggest bag they’re offered, I’d probably say development, tradition , campus life/proximity to home

Money now then opportunity then hopefully they get ready for the league

#1 for most of these 5 star and 4 star recruits that come from poor families is money while the ones from more affluent families will go somewhere that will position them to go where they will have a chance to be developed for the NFL.
Lance Heard is a prime example.

Some of these kids come from really financially poor families that NIL money becomes a priority to help them out. I can’t fault a kid for prioritizing that.
