that was my take in the stickied "how do we finish?" thread, but I think we get one from that 2nd group (KY, Adoree, Carter, +Porter, etc), plus a mystery guy.

I agree with this list, but I think Carter could pull a shocker. I think if he was convinced on UGA there would be some solid news on him. Heart is in Athens and his head is in BR or Gainesville.

For carter it's down to LSU and Georgia. We have the two Texas guys so our number is 21 both are silent commits. From what I hear in the past and today Dupre is a silent so that's 22. Valentine is ours so that's 23. Two spots left for porter, Kelly who is all UF I hear, adoree, and carter. Gage said he would grey shirt if need be

I don't know about "all" but, I'm hearing that is closer and closer - hope it isn't true, but I'm really happy with the OL we did land (and, I'm fairly confident that Brumfield can play tackle if necessary - he might even thrive at it - but he's a natural, mean-spirited mauler, as is Clapp).
Nothing about Young - unfortunately, I think he's headed out west - shame, because Garrett/Young combo could have been the best thing since Bradie James/Trev Faulk.

fwiw the UF side feels confident on Kelly, as does LSU. A gerald willis situation again where who knows which side is right.

For some reason, I don't think we get the usual signee out of left field on NSD. I think the shocker will be landing Jackson, Dupre, Carter, and Valentine.

nah...he didn't qualify as an early enrolee for UF. He still has all spring and summer to get his scores and grades in order to attend. Otherwise he heads to Tamu I'd bet. I highly doubt Juco. I did hear someone in his camp reached out to LSU, but LSU wasn't interested. I take it with a grain of salt though.

nor would I but I really think Frank took what happened to him as an insult. We will never know what really went down with the Karr kids, but I think we can feel confident that Frank got pretty steamed about it, and felt really wronged by how it was all handled. Then again, welcome to college recruiting in the ESPNU age.

I think it's a smart move by the staff. It is worth losing one or two prospects (GW3 + Hootie) in a given year if you leave a lasting message with HS coaches to convey to their stars: Don't screw around because not even your flagship state university will hold that schollie for you once you commit. And certainly don't mislead your "home" school.

Yep..heard that as well. Makes sense. He fricked us over and now we would be hoping he gained his scores later in the year AFTER we take his signature....frick that! Bye Bye
