Alright, to get back on topic, I'm kinda starting to worry about Blakeney. That greasy goomba frick Pitino is probably the second dirtiest coach in college and will do whatever it takes. I really hope the Nike connection helps us here. On the flip side, if he doesn't commit to them this weekend, our chances will go up tenfold. So everyone just keep your fingers crossed that he stays uncommitted.

Yea. Blakeney is definitely on commitment watch this weekend and next week. Get him past that and I like our chances.

I'd also put Elijah Thomas on commitment watch whenever he visits us. Seems like we've got some serious momentum and are only gaining more steam. Hopefully his relationship with Mick and Grey pays off.

I hope that CJJ,can keep this Recruiting Class together(obviously, like everyone else), because it's starting to look a little shaky now.

Kinda hard to keep something together that was never there to begin with. It's a testament to just how much Coach Jones has changed this program to even be in the running for recruits like Blakeney and Thomas. shite, even a kid like Sampson wouldn't give us the time of day if Trent was still our coach. These kind of battles come with the territory. We aren't competing with Providence and UCF for recruits anymore. Now we're going up against Louisville, Duke, Georgetown, and Kentucky. Power schools. Sometimes we're gonna lose. But to get mad at CJJ for not landing some crazy 5 star class is ridiculous.

We still have Ben Simmons...there is nothing shaky about that.

Well, things looked pretty awful last year. LSU missed on like 5 or 6 straight guys they wanted. CJJ managed to string together some good players though.

When you count Bridge and Keith as part of last year's class, it's pretty great actually. We got 3 high impact players from that class.

I didn't mean to sound so pessimistic, presuming we lose Martin & Mickey to the NBA Draft next year, is the maximum limit on signees for a claas 5 now ?
Posted on 8/27/14 at 12:31 pm to TigerFanMizeWay
Yeah, it would be 5.

There is no maximum limit. You can sign however many and figure it out later. Schools do it every season.

well malik didnt have that chance after wrecking his knee, he did improve as a defender, just gets a lot of flack from people because he has a nonchalant demeanor. if anything, his shooting not significantly improving was disappointing. hope to see him bounce back at tulane.
think we will take 2 2's

We have to take 2 2's. Our depth would be shite otherwise.

ANTONIO BLAKENEY IS VISITING SEPTEMBER 19-21!!!! Three days in BR. Every other OV will only be 1 day. CJJ GOT DIS shite.
Posted on 8/28/14 at 10:19 am to BobBarker
This is great news. Also, it's the first SEC home game for football.

Misread. Who gives a shite though. Looks like these will be his only two OV's.

So how long before Jerry Meyer changes his prediction back to LSU? Later today?
Posted on 8/28/14 at 10:56 am to BobBarker
Solid. The Mississippi State game will be a solid game for him to see. Should be fun for him.
He'll wait till after the weekend. If Louisville doesn't get a commitment this week which doesn't seem likely, then he'll switch it.

This came straight from Blakeney too, not one of his coaches. I think the fact he's already set up his OV shows that he doesn't want to commit soon. If he doesn't commit within the next week, Louisville will move onto Perry Dozier.
