and why are people mad at him for saying young players dont get used correctly, when every other topic on here talks about that?? people on here are delusional. if anyone says something remotely negative about lsu they are a dumb douche bag, yet what they say is said by lsu "fans" on a daily basis

He was saying the talent level has dropped off since Saban was gone but could clearly be disproved by looking at our recruiting rankings. Also it wasn't the time or place to just go on a LSU bashing spree.

As far as coaching up talent adn not using younger players he is right but our team is as TALENTED (capable) as the older teams.
Its not tranistiong to the field for whatever reasons I cant figure out but we have had topranked recruiting classes every year. Right along with Bama, USC Texas adn Fl.
Todd Mcshay is right for the most part, but he reminds me of that kid on the playground that will push you in the mud, steal your wallet, and then set your backpack on fire.

So being that you have played high school football, you are a genius?
This is great stuff.

o who on here will say that the 08 and 09 teams were as talented as the 06 and 07...im confused here he spoke nothing but the truth, but because lsu had an above average day in recruiting hes a douche?
Based on ESPN rankings and rivals and scout they are as talented if not more.

The same way most on the rant do.

oo and when did you have to excel at a sport to know what you are talking about...if that were the case 90% of the ppl here wouldnt be allowed to post
doesn't have to excel to know what you are talking about. However, you will never be an 'expert' in my opinion, because well how can you be, if you don't have first hand knowledge of what you're talking about.
Secondly, he needs to knock off the all knowing schtick. The fact that him and the other dick Kiper have to act like they're the ultimate authorities just to get air time, is sickening.
I know NFL people laugh at those two clowns, because in all honesty, if they were really good at what they do, they'd be in the league.
They abide by the "throw enough shite against the wall" policy.

and why wouldnt he say it. its true

Just know this, every player that is ever a bust or doesn't live up to his hype, is further proof of McFag and Kocker's failures.
It is their hype who the players aren't living up to. So, instead of admitting they are wrong, it is easier to blame the Les Miles of the world or any other reason they can think of to keep their own "records" clean.
Open your eyes and actually look around, figure things out before you run your mouths off sometimes.

His main motivation is to drive ratings. If he does not say something "sensational" he creates no buzz. Truth has VERY LITTLE to do with it. In my OPINION McShay does that more than Kiper because he has "little man syndrome" compared to Kiper. He needs to create more noise because Kiper has been around longer and has more "old school" contacts.
If you want to provide back-up for your claim of less talent, do so. Untill then it is just opinion, unsubstantiated opinion at that.

I got no problem with the national media criticizing LSU or Les Miles, but his reasoning was poor and neither him nor Robert Smith made any good, objective points.

Look at this link. We lost too many recruits in the 2005-2007 classes. Compare that to 2004, 2008 and 2009. We will be back to the top of the SE
C SOOOOOOON!

its not opinion that lsu is .500 in the sec the last 2 years compared to 11-2 with a natl title...with the same coach so coaching is the same...which means talent level has dropped...i mean just go position by position where are the last 2 years
