I would. The guy's a beast. He looked it in the 1v1 videos from the AA game and he looks it on his film. Anyone that's seen him play in person has said he looks like he will be very good at the next level and the people that talk about his "off field issues" are always people who hear that from others.
I think I will believe the people that have seen him play or know the guy. I am inclined to think if we get him, we are getting a potentially great player and if we don't (which I expect we won't based on his previous quotes) we will be losing a potentially great player from LA.

UM remains hopeful of landing at least three of the four players: Booker T. Washington’s Matthew Thomas (rated the nation’s second-best outside linebacker by rivals.com); Baton Rouge-based Tim Williams (the third-ranked weakside defensive end) and Port Saint Lucie’s Jaynard Bostwick (the 27th-rated defensive tackle).
This I got from an article in Miami Herald Barry Jackson, and he feels he is fairly solid with Miami as you see above.
Here is the Link; I know I have posted this a little while ago in am=nother post, but would like to see if this will have a shot of him changing his mind or help him to choose LSU over Miami?

Everyone who steps foot in Tuscaloosa names Bama the leader according to your writers. To include but not limited to:
Hootie

Fournette
Willis

Like it or not, these "issues" are widely reported and there. These "issues" are another reason I don't think TW is the top instate player and these "issues" should be considered when ranking players. The top instate guy this year is TreDavious White or KB. Back to TW; LSU doesn't just quit pressing a top 3 instate player for no reason. They pushed Denzell Devall all the way to the finish line. You don't hear the same with TW.
From a potential standpoint, I am sure he could be great; but you cannot ignore the other aspects as well. At the end of the day though, I hate to lose anyone instate with Mingo's frame and this much talent, so I hope we press him when he visits.

Does he really have mingo's frame? I thought mingo was 6'5

I've been next to both in person and Mingo is an inch or two taller. But other than that, their frames are pretty similar
