Right, but at what point is it detrimental to the team.
The players are watching this player play games with you and the head coach is all over the radio saying "i'll take him back no matter what". Take him back but why do you have to be on the radio sounding like an idiot

Trask was an very above average sec QB. I don’t see anyone else coming close to him developmentally at Florida... I don’t think E Jones has shown he’s as good as any of three QBs on LSUs current roster... LSU seems like the best situation from a personnel/talent stand point...

I've never enjoyed giving Florida credit for anything, but they've definitely had more than one great TE. Historically, they've had quite a lot of dudes. In recent years, Iowa has put a few good ones out as well, famously two in the same draft recently, but I don't know enough about their overall history. I would think the overall historical TE schools would likely include Notre Dame, as well.
