The #1 pick in the WNBA this year will make about $75k. The highest salary is around $225k. Meanwhile rumors abound that Angel is pulling down mid six figures in NIL money.
I understand why her dad is interested in the NIL money. She has one year left to earn more off of NIL than she ever would playing pro ball. If she loved LSU and Louisville, but if BR Community College came up with $1 million in NIL, well, yeah.

And the chances of staying on a WNBA roster is pretty slim for most as there are not many teams or roster spots
Which is why you are seeing these athletes prioritize making as much cash as possible before their college career is over. The chances of making a decent living or keeping a spot on a WNBA roster isn't great. Most would need to go overseas to keep playing (Europe, Russia, etc)

I actually think she has 2 years of eligibility left as well so that’s even better for her if she chooses her 5th covid year. She has the opportunity to build her brand even more.

Not sure what the timeline is exactly but should hear something soon..
She could potentially take another visit but she hasn't scheduled anything. Her family seems pretty involved with her going through her options but LSU is the team to beat at this point. Her dad seems to love the NIL opportunities LSU offers for Hailey. The visit went really well.
ETA: My bad. I meant to put that she has "spoke to" Stanford and SC prior to her visit.

She went into the portal 12 days ago, contacted a few schools to gather info, went to see her best friend and trainer in Indiana (didn't visit Indiana'sprogram), then went to a camp at Florida at IMG before flying in to BR this Monday...
From LSU's understanding she has only visited LSU so far unless she visited the day or two after jumping into the portal in some secret visit which seems like a stretch... The LSU visit was supposed to be under the radar but blew up very quickly not even a few hours into the visit

They must kept it really lowkey and visited late at night. I haven't seen anything on social media about them visits. How social media is today ain't no way they kept it secret. It was on every platform when she came here to visit.

Exactly. I'm guessing it's probably more of a rumor that's being being relayed, then taken as fact.
It reminds me of multiple posters on Volnation who recently stated Morrow visited LSU just this past weekend (I wanna say it was reported by a Maryland moderator). I didn't immediately dismiss it bc who really knows. But after seeing the all-out welcome of HLV by LSU and the cookie crumbs dropped that the visit did actually take place, I 100% doubt now Morrow visited where nobody, other than a some Vols & Terps, found out.

I saw a few people posted on social media yesterday guard from Iowa State was suppose to visit. Dnt know if true.

She took a call from Dawn Staley out of respect, but doesn’t want to play for her. No visit.
She talked to Stanford but apparently they fumbled it a bit. I got conflicting info on if there was an actual visit.

Eh I don’t worry too much unless she starts taking a bunch of other visits.
LSU got multiple commitments last year but the players and school sat on it for weeks before officially announcing it
She visited only two days ago…

LSU only school she has visited. She will be a Tiger. Only thing bothers me thought it would be before Sunday. Might not happen.

Remember these spring sports students are still enrolled in their current school and need to finish the semester. Probably want to do that before blowing up "I'm going somewhere else!" I would not be surprised to see announcements after terms end.

The time to get in the portal closes like Apr 26. Those that are in by then can take as long they want to decide. After that No one can enter until the 2nd portal opening which is like in Dec.
