that what money is doing to the game we love

if Texas or any other school can come in at the 9th hour in a recruiting cycle and buy our players from under us

I mean frick it, let it burn

As a fan, It makes me bitter this is what it has come to...

I am paying for two kids to attend college right now, don't talk to me about some kid getting more money thrown at them "attend Texas, or Michigan"

no wonder saban tapped out, this is Bullshite....it's everything old school people hate because of the attitude it breeds

To hell with anyone who says "embrace the changes"....

Well, I guess you can help pay the players money they haven't earned with NIL or you can watch it burn, your choice

frick change. I want the old college football back. Whatever the frick we’re living in now is complete arse. It’s a disaster. Not only is recruiting fricked but I watched the selection show and Boise St. has a real shot at being a top 4 seed. I mean what the frick are we doing.

I hate to inform you but these players have never really given a damn where they played. Sure, they end up with fond memories and end up loving it wherever they go, but for decades now the main reason any of these top recruits chose any school was 95% money.

Very few top players over the last 40 years have gone to a school solely because they love the school and even then they were getting “paid”. You might have a kid who, for example, loves LSU more than anything and has always wanted to play there growing up, but if Bama is offering him a million to play for them and LSU is offering nothing, 99% of the time that kid is going to choose the money. Now you might could get that same player for a little less than a million because of his love for LSU, but you are still going to have to come close.
