It’s nice to finally hear some optimism about our recruiting potential for this 2021 class.
And while I think the Tristan Leigh ship has sailed, I adamantly believe most on here are not adequately accounting for the opportunities that will be provided by the 2021 transfer portal.
There will be more talent than ever available by way of the transfer market, and Coach O has done well in this arena on a pretty consistent basis (Burrow, Tracy, Cox, & local DB that we got from Stanford).
I am confident we end up with four (4) offensive lineman for 2021 class - two (2) HS recruits & two (2) transfer guys. Bottom line for me: If Coach O can re-recruit a good chunk of our current offensive linemen, then this position group is going to be improved in 2021!!

Coming off of last season, a Joe Moorhead award, and recruits seeing how bad the line was this year, and we still can’t get elite offensive lineman. That in itself should be a fireable offense. If we don’t land multiple quality guys in Feb, Cregg should be let go.
This is inexcusable.

The transfer portal has already had quality names enter it for OL. Just hope the staff picks the right ones to jump on

What if we could sign the top 2 rated tackles, top 2 rated guards and top center?
I mean if we are going to be absurdly unrealistic, let’s go all the way.
We will be lucky to finish with more than two OL worth anything in this class.
