Dude LSU just got probably the top WR in the portal and a former 5 star corner from Florida today. Chill out lol

Needed him badly

Would've been nice, but we don't necessarily need him. We just need solid safety play. If it's him or someone else doesn't matter. It just needs to be better than the past couple years.

really really really the most important player in the portal for LSU need.
Sad LSU didn't realize that and outbid Oregon.

He’s exaggerating a little, but not really as much as your reply might suggest. On3 has Brown as the 5th ranked WR and his actual production at a P4 level is as good as just about anyone in the portal. He could end as the best WR taken, but at a minimum he’s one of the best available. Jackson wasn’t a 5*, but at #40 on On3 and #49 on 247, he was very close to being one.

We arent even close. Many people close to LSU have already pointed that list out as being wrong.

LSU signed the 4th most blue chips in this class with 19 and only Georgia at 24 had more than 20. They must be close enough.

The reality is that the disparity of wealth applied to college sports will eventually be so significant that it will more appropriately reflect the class stratifications that will continue to grow exponentially. The 0.05% of the schools/teams will dominate the rest through the process.

LSU knows how to use theirs more effectively. Also, the only players we lost were guys getting ridiculous amounts of money.

Yes, that’s generally true, but it’s also an indication that the players they had committed had too much market value overall for them to hold onto all of them. Even the top NIL teams aren’t able to dominate the field and get every player they want.
