There are still quite a few non-SEC DL/Edge portal players uncommitted.

Including one from Many La. Also one from LTech (via NC).
Johnny Bowens seems to still be out there as well as Will Norman. (Will was at Florida but now coming out of Marshall).
If they are no-gos, does anyone know why?
These can be taken at any time but I am wondering how many spots are left. Or if you want to keep them open for guys like Preston Hickey or others I am not aware of.

I dont see the issue with letting a transfer in on the same day true frosh come in.
And for the record if there was a CJ West type that just got his paperwork/situation corrected, you’d say, “nah, roster’s set. Ole Miss has a spot, tho.”

Okay. I have to admit I stand corrected on that issue. I was wrong about frosh move in date.
I do not deserve the right to question you on if you’d rather let one of these guys walk. Or an even better question, which is what is holding their commitment up to other schools as well.?

It’s still 85. If they allowed more, schools would have to get rid of a male sport or add a female sport to make the scholarship numbers match. Or abolish title IX in its current form.
