The Ole Miss coach recruiting McKinnley Jackson just left for NY Giants

was talking with an Ole Miss fan who thought McKinnley Jackson was a 3-way tie between us, Ole Miss & Bama, but their lead recruiter just left during the dead period. hopefully, this helps us land him.

He coming to play for Ed O and LSU and not for Dave Aranda. If he wants to play for Dave Aranda, let him commit to Baylor.

The upside to Aranda not being someone who focused on recruiting is that him leaving shouldn’t be a huge deal to recruits

Only in the sense that they don't know what defense they'll be playing in. Kind of a deal. Still I'd rather get the right guy than rush for recruiting. Our momentum carries to the 21 class and id rather have the right guys to nail that class down.

I think Orgeron has a general idea of what he wants to run and that can be communicated to recruits, even though the actual guy might not be hired yet.
