Memphis, what's the real scoop on Bucc. He is on our boards constantly.

Bucc is good people, even though he's a Bama fan

Our board is open to everyone, even though I'd like it to be more like the SECr boards and make it to where you have to request access.

FYi Bucc, take into account some unfortunate injuries that have plagued LSU and we would have numbers close to Bama's on the O-line

Injuries and our O-Line recruitment was poor compared to our other positions in my opinion. But I think our OL recruitment has gotten much better in the past two years.

We need this. Good posters like Bucc and Riseup are welcomed. Trolls like Trey and that gang of 100 post Bama fans aren't welcome.

Joe I've tempered my self from when I first got here, I used to be a lot easier to rustle and would get mad and banned etc, not the case anymore

I realize injury and I also know its part of the game of football, shite happens, the pattern LSU has had over the last 5 years under Miles though (in terms of OL being drafted) shows much more than 1 or 2 guys getting injured, like Memphis said though it is getting better, you have to take at least a few OL, a few DL, a RB and a QB in every class (look at each class as a whole like a team is how I think of it) and the eval process in recruiting can really make or break a coach or a teams position

I won't argue about the coaching staffs or even recruiting tactics at any school because when you are as invested as I am you hear stories that make you cringe about boosters of every SEC school and in some cases coaches at Bama, at Arkansas, at OM, at LSU, at Auburn, and every other SEC school and as far as staff personnel goes guys leave, take better jobs, new guys come in it is the cycle of a college staff, so the only thing I have to go off at Bama or LSU are the measures of success, the championships, the drafted players

I won't argue over a players success IN the NFL or their 2nd contract either because that is up to every player, U of Troy has had a defensive player that is better than any defensive player LSU has put in the NFL in 30 years, does that mean they are better coached, a better program or any of that? HELL NO!

What if New England signed Arian Foster as a UFA? Ridley would be a back-up or out on the street, so the NFL is a totally different game

Ok

I agree that our recruiting has been a little soft on the OLine for years. We have developed the guys we get extremely well though. This class should be a healthy upgrade. Can u imagine how much a DCoordinator will loathe scheming around CamRob and Clapp? Add Dillon Gordon on that end and it's a nightmare. To further the nightmare, Connor Neighbors at Fb and LF at Rb. Man, that is just downright nasty to think about.

I believe LSU has the edge with CRob right now. Time is on the side of LSU. His want to be in P n G should increase as time goes by. Momma knows best.

By no means have I forgotten. There are other names that could be included. Clapp and CRob would come in together and line up next to each other for a long time. That tandem would need a nickname.
