It's never wise to count patterson out. Just look at their recent playoff history for proof.

i don't think its going to be close. district 8-3A is the toughest 3A district hands down and capitol almost beat parkview and then soundly whooped redemtorist and then redemptorist beat parkview. those are my top 3 contenders 4 the title. i think capitol can beat westlake this year. they put more points then anybody did up against them last year and it was a 9 point game.

is 24-13 "soundly whooping" someone? not taking anything away from capitol, but you may want to slow down. the last two games of the season, capitol beat 2 3-5 teams. the scores of those two games were 27-6 and 14-7. patterson has lost two games this year. the first was to cecilia on the wednesday after gustav after having one practice and the other was to a pretty good st james team. the last 6 games their lowest scoring total has been 41. how good is parkview this year? their biggest win is a 20-17 game over cecilia. capitol didnt beat parkview, regardless of what lead they had in the 4th, and capitol didnt beat westlake last year. can capitol beat patterson? of course they can. but for you to say the game isnt going to be close becuase of what capitol almost did is stupid. show up friday and dont disappear afterwards if capitol loses.

Since losing to St. James, Patterson has outscored their opponents 316-100. And a lot of their opponents points were garbage touchdowns against the JV team. Saying it won't be close is pretty ridiculous. But good luck trying to stop Hilliard.

You really lost all creditability with that statement. I'm hoping you're not serious. Ask ED White if the Redemptorist backs compare to Hilliard. They got 42 hung on them by Hilliard and the Jacks.

Is Broadway a 2010 recruit? I've been hearing about him on here recently. What city is he from?

And as for having a crowed QB lineup, he could always redshirt and get himself some separation from our other guys. If he redshirted, he could come in as RS Freshman while Shep is a Jr. Besides, he'd face that same dilemma at Alabama with their young QB's would he not?

dude, you are the one bringing all this up. if your argument is capitol will win bc the have more d-1 recruits than patterson, then obviously mckinley has at least 5. the truth is you know nothing about patterson, yet you come on here and bash them like they are some junior high team. stick with an argument and stop crawfishing on everything you say.

the truth is i kno alot more than u think. my arguement is ppl are saying capitol lose because of kenny hilliard and the points patterson has put up. when they havent beat anyone worth talking about.

look at the title of this thread that YOU started. then you go on to say kenny is no better than the guys from redemptorist. then you go on to say that patterson isnt as good bc they dont have as many d-1 recruits. whatever your argument or opinion is you are entitled to it. i watched to parkview/redemptorist game from last week. if you think the backs from redemptorist are anywhere as good as kenny, you are in for a rude awakening. there are 11 people on the field at a time. not 1 or 4. thats where games are won, and by the men on the sideline. ill take minton any day of the week.
