This is good news from a numbers perspective.
I would think that we will take at least 1 HS walkon for practice purposes.

The dude got benched at Tennessee Tech and remained in a backup role for a 1-10 team. Let's go get that guy.
This dude is NOWHERE near as good as Etling. He's more like Andrew Hatch 2.0 it seems.

No offense to this young man, but he did not appear to be that good in high school and was not that good at Tennessee Tech. I don't even see him as adding depth at an SEC school.
I guess so long as it doesn't cost us a scholarship it doesn't make much difference.
We needed a true qb in the class. LSU is in a bind if Brennan so much as turns an ankle. All we have after him is the talented Narcisse, who has zero experience and two operated knees and Justin McMillan, a kid who is a gamer but so far has not shown SEC talent.
How a premier school like LSU could not get one decent qb recruit in this class is beyond me. The overall class looks to be solid, but the miss at qb is a huge fail and the most important position on the roster.

You need arms to work with WR's all the time.
You need scout team QB's to simulate the opponent all the time.
That's what Sale will give you.
That's what Loving will give you as preferred walk on.

He was benched this past season at Tenn Tech, I would expect anything from him other than a Caleb Lewis type role
