Tell me about DJ Chester

Every recruiting writer is predicting him to go to LSU. I haven't really read anything about him coming here though. Is he a quiet kid? Is Georgia not interested in him? It looks like he has only been on 1 LSU visit unless 247 is wrong. Why are we so confident we are getting him? Does anyone here know anything about him wanting to come to LSU?

LSU has a big lead as of right now, he is visiting for bama game and he will play Guard or Center in college.

FWIW, plays at a 2A Private School in Georgia and looks a cut below Heard with room to grow.

Look at his film, he’s the perfect build and technically sound. He’s more polished than Heard in my opinion. He’s on the same level as our freshman tackles when they came in

Georgia has so much talent they get theirs and everyone goes in and gets the rest. Chester would be a big get for the Tigers.

When I said "room to grow" I was thinking about the other youngster from GA, Paul Mubenga. Also, PM has got that big assed lower body like E.Jones.
These two are even more interesting in that they are the first two OL that are completely CBK/CBD.
DJ is a bit heavier than the CBK profile and PM fits it just right.
Cool to see how each develops.
Maybe you're right about DJ being more polished than Big Lance but at some point I have to feel like it's just not realistic - for me, anyway - to expect every youngster that signs to be able to contribute right away. Buuuutttt....
How cool would it be if next season Geaux Tigers OL vs Auburn went:
LT Campbell
LG Chester
C Dellinger
RG Jones
RT Heard
If Chester and Heard are 2 of the best 5 OL then let's rock! It wouldn't mean we're weak on the OL. Turner, Bradford, and Frazier have proved they can start and perform at least at SEC level.
