If he signs with Florida we may be in some trouble.

He won't sign with Florida, imo. He's been quoted as wanting to play in a pro style offense. Obviously his goal is the NFL. If that's the case, his last place to look should be Florida.

From what I gather elsewhere, I think the early leader is UGA.

Richt likely won't be there next year...so I don't see that going down. I'd have to say Miami is the team beat...no matter what he says. Hes going to have a lot of pressure to go to the U regardless.

That's what I thought as well... I bet he would do better at Oregon than Dixon did too...

Everything about him reminds me of Dixon. His build, the way he throws, runs. Uncanny.

He would be a beast if he played in a spread like Dixon did...

I agree. Hope if he doesn't come to LSU (which I doubt he will) that he plays outside the conference.

If he plays in a spread it won't matter... If he's not then his passing can be fixed with the right training...

J. Gore is from Miami Columbus not Northwestern, and Patrick Johnson now Peterson is from Blanche Ely Hs in Pompano Beach Fl not Miami.Randy Shannon is under a lot of pressure for results,if he doesnt have a really good year this upcoming season he could be in trouble. That might leave teh door open for other schools.

Miami didn't recruit him all that much... If Tha U wants a kid from Northwestern HS it's about a 99.5% chance that he will go there...

Agreed.

Wont be the best QB in the country.

When was the last time South Florida even produced an actual star QB BTW?

Well, Jacory Harris isn't that bad and he's just a sophmore...

Reminds me of Terrell Pryor's high school footage. He has a quick release, throws exceptionally well on the run (makes it look effortless), puts the ball in some tight spots (also makes me wonder how many INTs this guy throws), and has great legs. His height gives him a legitimate shot in a pro-style system with some good coaching. Anyone in the nation would be lucky to get this guy. Top 5 overall recruit in my opinion.

Teddy has said he wont be going to Florida he wants to play in a pro style offense as a QB.
Even though "indications" are he likes UGA I'm not buying it, Miami all the way.
