Committing and signing are not the same thing.

Make sure your buddy is the head of the NCAA.
And throw temper tantrums when you don’t get what you want.

Because they don't have 28 signatures.

Backcounting and deferred scholarships. The deferred ships just mean less than 25 next year.

These kids are giving “verbal commitments” where they want to play. Signing the LOI is on Feb 6. Lots of hearts will be crushed when Saban processes many of these verbals.

You can have 2000 commits if players want to commit.

Commit =/= signed.

Some of these kids know they may not get into the class and are willing to wait in line.

"deferred scholarships"

That's a new species of scholarship I believe. I believe there is no such animal.

but can't you only count back a max of 3 and thus sign a max of 28? I thought you couldn't back count 4 even if you only signed 21 the previous class.

Remember they're 100% getting that LB To'oto'o, that's 29. I hope when O said "DL,DL,DL" it meant Young/Sophser/Sophser

Please stop worrying over how many are committed! They can have 30 committed but still only sign 28! It comes down to who actually signs
