stringer probably realizes that his time as a starter is over. he still has two years to play so now would be a good time to move on.

I don't bash recruits and I'm not doing so now, but Swilling is average at best. I'm not sure how much of an "upgrade" that is.

With the big guards and wings being brought in, I don't see Stringer ever being more than a backup PG and "instant offense" off the bench. He needs to transfer to Southern Miss or somewhere like that. Maybe TCU?

I wonder if there is any connection between Odoh and Okafor? There are usually certain groups that bring these guys to the U.S. It's a small circle, so it's not a big reach that people Jones got to know in landing Odoh, could help with Okafor.

What people seem to be forgetting is that, outside of Hickey, our guards were terrible last season. Johnny's job is to upgrade every position.
That is a good point that gets overlooked now because everyone is so honed in on the fact that we need some bigs. We had a pretty good front court last year. It was our guard play that prevented us from being a tournament team in many ways. We need upgrades all around and if Swilling is just a guy that pushes Stringer and Turner to be better then so be it. As mentioned earlier I would guess Swilling's scholly can clear up next year if need be.

That could either mean this is all a bunch of bullshite, or Jones is dodging the question until he has the paperwork in hand.
I didn't believe the Swilling talk at first, and then I begrudgingly accepted it after multiple sites reported it as being confirmed from Swilling. I will not be surprised if it is untrue. We will see.

I've never seen anything like it. I went and read his tweets, and everytime someone congratulated him on his LSU commitment, he replied "haha"
