I really like Mike Hollins too. If this were last year's class then I'll think he would be apart of it over Provens or Curry. kid is a beast and will dominate at UVA

I hate to tell you but that won't happen. Holstein is 10 times the QB as Howard. Everyone who knows both will tell you that.

Holstein is 38 of 58 , 410 yds

Air mailed a pass for the INT to pretty much seal the Uhigh W

TBH besides Hollins a lot of the studs on U high weren't that impressive.

Surprised LSU hasn’t been on Holstein harder. I prefer him over Finley all week long and twice on Sunday.

Holstein is the kind of kid the big time programs sleep on and he ends up setting records at a Memphis or LA Tech.

Meanwhile LSU takes the Narcisse or Finley types and wonders why they struggle to have a competent passing game.

This I agree with! Their secondary was very non athletic and it was indicated by them playing three man drop 8 the whole night.

No fan of spoiled brat rich kids but you are wrong about that. He is not D! good but he has developed into a good HS QB. He has nice arm strength but a bad motion(he winds up to throw). MeHaffey's offense makes the QB successful more easily than many and the weapons on U High's roster take the pressure off the QB, but McKernern is adequate. He has been tutored by Tommy Hodson & Tom Rathman for years so he understands the game very well. He could play D3, NAIA, or Ivy League type ball.

I was pulling big-time for STM due to a long time friendship with a staff member. But Mckernan is a good high school QB. 13 - 0 and a state title...that says something. I wish him all the best.

I’ve watched several Ivy League and Patriot league games the last couple of years. McKernan could easily play for one of those schools. There are dozens of FCS schools who would love to have him as well.
