I'm excited about this kid's potential to play both sides at 6'5/230lbs. Sullivan has already said he's open to play both sides as WR/DE, and that CLM has already talked to him about doing so.

I haven't seen any footage of him putting his hand in the dirt, but him being an EE and being developed by Ed O I expect nothing but upside from this kid. I would love to see him being used in Aranda's new system. Does anyone know of any footage with Sullivan playing defense?

This was over a year ago, he has changed his mind since then.

With the depth that we will have at WR, I would have to think he would be open to play both sides so he could see more playing time

He will never see the field if he doesn't dedicate himself to 1 position.

I'm really hoping its a case of getting him on campus first and then trying to sell him on defense, because I would love to see him at DE

That's usually the case but with his exceptional athleticism I believe he can play both, just like Donte Jackson can. CLM and Cam Cameron have already said they want him to play both sides and I'm sure Aranda will do the same. They would absolutely make sure he would get playing time if he decided to do so.

It's not happening. Just like Jackson was going to be a 2 way star. That lasted 1 jet sweep. He's not beating out 4* DE + 4 and 5* WR for playing time. It's an either or thing not both. He's not the only great athlete on this team.

Yeah, I don't know why we would let any guys play both ways. I like Jackson's speed for offense, but look at Chark just wasting away on the bench and how he took that sweep to the house.

We've got more than enough talent to let our guys dedicate themselves to one position.

Well hopefully he blows up at practice playing DE. We already know he can play offense. Put him were he helps the team the most.
