I'm putting Terrance Magee's stats on here. He is for 2011 and might not end up at LSU, but I do think he ends up at an SEC caliber school. On the SEASON, TY TY is 22 of 43 for 355 yards passing and 5 touch downs passing. He has rushed for 396 yards and another 5 TDs on 21 carries. This is with this kid being virtually pulled due to blow outs just after halftime in all 3 games.

If this kid gets hurt, the Patterson coaches should be held accountable. It's ridiculous for a high school kid to be abused like that.

Is it ridiculous for a O Lineman/FB/LB/D Lineman to play every snap? They hit or get hit on almost every snap they play. Much more than a running back.

I think this topic of Hilliard getting too many carries is played out. He's playing football not patty cakes!!! It just shows how tough the kid is. Those coaches know what they are doing. They have had big time players go through that program before.

different impact, and they are bigger than RBs for this reason

no way

he's being abused by his coach, essenitally, and he's losing carries for his LSU/NFL career

RBs only have a certain number of carries in their body. hilliard is wasting far too many of these in high school

some LA yokel coaches who have no team around 1 kid and have to build the entire team around him really have built that program. i mean look at all the talent surrounding hilliard. these are some awesome coaches. JUST LOOK

Actually Hilliard is bigger than the FB and some of the O-Line and D-Line...
You are an idiot if you think him carrying the ball 30 something times a game as a 17 yr old kid will affect his chance to get to the NFL...
I think if you feel this strongly about how poor a job these coaches are doing with this kid and any other kid you should contact their school and speak your mind. Dont hide behind some bogus screen name and bad mouth the job people are doing. You can find the school's number on the LHSAA website...Ask for Tommy Minton...Please keep us posted about how that conversation goes!

You're pretty naive if you think that carrying it that many times will have no effect. Especially since his o-line and fullback are not making the holes for him that they should be and he has do all the work on his own.

I really dont think he has been hit hard enough by anyone this year for it to really have a negative affect for the future.

I just looked at the stats from they're game vs. Cecilia last week.

The QB threw 4 tds to 3 receivers. (none of which were hilliard) Along with the back-up, they threw for 184 yds. with kenny running for 190. Pretty balanced if you ask me for a high school team with a stud running back.

The defense held Cecilia to 7 pts. Wasn't Cecilia a semi-finalist last year?

If you're telling me that team has no athletes besides hilliard, then I question your grasp of high school football in Louisiana. There have been several players play D1 football from that Patterson program. I believe last year there was a kid playing for Missouri and I know Blair Irving was at K-State. Not to mention players at smaller schools. Patterson is a small public school that cannot recruit players like the private schools. I think they have a great program, not based on one player.

You look!!! Past this year.

in all seriousness, i would be more concerned about the kids having to tackle kenny instead of worrying about him.

Hahahaha....just another Friday in Patterson!
Oh my god, I cant believe the PHS coaches made him carry the ball in those muddy conditions! His college and NFL career could now be ruined by these senseless acts!! I think the Cecilia coach and player who is taking a ride on his back should also be persecuted for making him run with a defender acting as a backpack...SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
