Not much of a recruiting follower, more than clicking on this board from time to time.
With transfer rules, nil etc... is every year going to be kind of a "program year" from now on?
It's nice to be able to fill holes, but that comes with other risk like losing guys you needed, missing on xfers etc.
Seems like every fanbase is gonna be saying "who the hell is 24 again? Oh yeah the transfer"

Locker room and chemistry will be affected yearly as well.

Yeah i gotta think the quest Kelly has for as many incoming freshmen that stay 4y is part of that.
Steamin Willie Beamen can't come in and ruin your locker room if the rest of the guys don't put up with that shite.
...theoretically.
Showing up to camp in an $80k car and flexing on the rest of em is prolly gonna get worse as NIL continues... Unless it's reigned in somehow.

I had not thought of it that way but yes. Every year now you have to first re-recruit your roster and then fill the holes. There will also be many like mid-roster guys you dont want to leave that will have opportunities elsewhere and then you have to fill their void.
If you slip up on any year now it will set you back. Even UGA could f'up and lose a bunch if they screw it up.

Moving from school to school is not the way college athletes should be getting degrees and educated.

It's been a very long time since the big 3 sports have been about educational opportunities at any major college. The few scholarship guys taking advantage of that are not the ones transferring for more NIL money or playing time.
