Massington and Miles should be in town. Prevot and Maurice Smith will be for the Spring Game and then head to Texas on Sunday

Where is kj Malone leaning? His recruitment has been quiet. What's his real height?

Tim WIlliams will be there.

Quantavious Leslie, WR out of Hinds CC, will be in attendance.

This may be the most attended spring game in LSU history recruit wise. A ton of kids counting '13 and future kids. We finally may have one of those Bama, UF type weekends in terms of number of visitors. I like it but it does make it difficult for the staff to get a word with all the kids.
Big question is how many, if any commits do we get? I'm betting on at least one. Who's got the over/under?

If both Miles and Massington are offered I would not be surprised if they pull the trigger and commit...they both really like LSU.

George Baltimore from Mansfield Texas will be there.

I agree, if Massington gets the offer he will commit. I dont see why we wouldnt offer.

I do. 2 JUCO WR's that are taller, seasoned, and higher on the board.

So no offer for Massignton because 2 other JUCO guys? I get that but why take Chuck and not Massignton? I think we offer him then try for one of the JUCO guys bc I dont see both comming.

Agree. No way both Juco kids are coming. They aren't stupid and no that Landry and Beckham aren't losing their spots while they're at LSU. Those 2 are only going to get better.
I disagree however that Leslie and Rumph are better than Massington. Currently they're better players but neither are as naturally talented as Massington. If Massington were 2 years older and 2 years bigger, he'd be ahead of both. I easily see why both juco kids are being targeted and have no issue with it but are 2 kids with 4 years between them better than Massington with 4 years to himself? Not to me. Best case is to concentrate on 1 juco and Massington. You don't turn down a kid like Massington. We have several wrs on our roster that weren't the prospects he is nor are as talented as he is currently. We're going to frick it up though. I've called it since the beginning and it's all playing out perfectly for Massington to get screwed. Leslie rescheduling for this week probably sealed it. We'll end up taking one of the instate kids that can't carry Massington's jock at the end. Dez Bryant and Trey Metoyer all over again without the grade issues.

Thats what im worried about. You cant pass on Massignton right now. With the way our passing game has been we should be happy a guy like him is drooling over an offer from us. I understand that we may have bigger fish out there but I take Massington over Fobbs,Boone,Williams, and Turner. Hell, the reason those guys got offers were becasue we slow played people like Massignton and lost out on the other big fish. If you have a solid chance in getting the verbal now, you take it IMO.

Would rather have Massington than Rumph
