I’m seriously getting so many mixed signals from him. Some people say he was never coming here, but I feel like that’s just s cop out now. Others say we have a good shot still and land him. I’ll say this, I have NO IDEA where his head is at. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes to Bama, or even if he comes to LSU. One of the weirder recruiting processes for sure.

Shea waits until last minute... Night before or right before announcement.

Sophser was never coming here. You guys were warned for two years. And never put stock in anything Sam Spiegs says. Dude is a complete douche. Shea is regarded much higher and doesn’t act like a pompous arse while doing it.

I don't understand the want of players to go sit on the bench in Tuscaloosa for 2 to 3 years when they could rotate in during year 1 at LSU and probably start in year 2

Yeah, Sopsher got his arse whipped by Country Day. If he's rotating in with us in year 1, we're in deep shite.

Do you like Shelvin? Think he could be a difference maker next year?

Because a 175 lb OL for CHS NI made him nonexistent his Sr at ND.

I know you are probably right, but man the example it is setting for future high school prospects is not good. I still think it needs to be nipped in the bud. I probably would not make it as a recruiting coordinator

Future recruits don't have a clue of what went on in the pursuit ofprior year players. They are self absorbed in their own world. Exception might be a teammate but that has little lasting value.

Is this the part where tehy load up the Tiger bus and the whole coaching staff shows up at his front door. Worked on Jamar Chase.

Devonta Smith is a good player but we aren’t hurting because he chose Bama. He’s 4th best there behind Ruggs, Jeudy and Waddle.

Agreed. I don't put much stock in Jimmy Details either. He's a whiney little bitch.

Bill Embody said this morning on OTB that he is leaning on Ish to Bama now. And he said he spoke with Shea about it, so it may be true.

A lot of high profile recruits have over inflated egos, and can’t fathom being buried on the depth chart.

However, what’s best for recruits is far down the list of factors in Amite. It’s all about shady dealings involving the hairdresser.

He's better than Waddle at this point. Not sure I'd take Ruggs over him. Ruggs does have great hands though. Smith was impactful early in the season then nagging stuff hampered him the rest of the year.

Do agree it hasn't bothered us much in terms of talent at the position. We've always had major wr talent and it's not different now.

Until we beat Bama it will be more of the same, that's why the streak needs to be broken

Sopsher seems overrated only hurts because he is a in state product at a position Bama has dominated us at.

We will need DT help to catch up with Bama don't care if it comes from in state or out but we better start getting more horses on the inside --if everyone stays healthy this year looks promising.

He already gave Bama coaches the word. Told the board this a couple weeks ago and downvoted to all hell
