I think he'll play LB. Chavis loves them to be about 6'0" 220 lbs with ball skills that rivals a safety's. Spencer is the perfect fit.
Nah, the strongest parts of his game are that he has good feet and receiving skills for a big back. He's definitely a better fit at RB IMO.

It's interesting how he says he will probably decide by NSD and take all five of his visits
Hopefully he won't change his mind again about all of that. I'm looking forward to seeing him at LSU in 2010.
I don't follow baseball recruiting at all. Does anyone know if he has a shot at getting drafted?

Here's my theory. Though i don't think people will admit it and i think it was a collective subconscious thing. The Storm talk heated up around the time the Seastrunk, Dyer, Lattimore all being interested in Auburn talk heated up. So people were nervous to there being some truth to that and Storm was a RB with a high enough ranking to ease some people's mind about us not getting a highly ranked RB. that's just a theory.

Anyone notice that pic next to that video...looks like a completely different guy. Doesn't look near that big on video.

Guys, check this out from the Cincinnati Nike Combine. Dude had a 37 1/2 inch vertical, and a higher Sparq that Jordan Hicks. He's a great athlete. He weighed in at 222lbs.

I like this just for his versatility. He says running back but he's a guy you could play at a few different positions and that makes him pretty damn valuable.
here is over 12 minutes of FREE tape from 2008 where he plays running back, quarterback and defensive back:

Seen the kid play football 3 times, very talented.
Will be a running back in college. He is a great baseball player expected to be picked in first 3 rounds of 2010 mlb draft.

Although Ware most likely won't play quarterback at the next level, there is no doubt he will be an all-around weapon for any college program. Ware is being recruited by schools such as Wisconsin, West Virginia, North Carolina State, Cincinnati, Duke and of course the home-state Buckeyes.

lol, I've seen all of his videos. He has good burst and speed, but you never see him run over anyone and his ability to run in traffic and run instincts are unproven. People who have actually seen him play and aren't just going by his highlights aren't that impressed. This upcoming season, where he was actually going to be a starter, was going to tell the tale on him.

It looks like he has the athleticism to play linebacker. I think he'll probably stick at running back but he's definitely athletic enough to make plays at other positions.

He could play LB, but the guy is very good with the ball in his hands bc he has good moves and catches the ball well. I see him as a power back that is versitile enough to be a weapon as a receiver. Better fit on offense than defense.

I agree with this. He is not a flashy player, but has the size/skills to be a bruising type SEC back like we are used to. He has a nice stiffarm too that he should use more often.
