I think Shep is a few inches taller. BOTH were very dynamic high school QB's!

speedy has better change of direction also?

Ehh, Shep played the best competition you can play in HS and his HS highlights are unreal. His change of direction is just gross.

Speedy can catch much better to answer the OP.

You can look at rivals ratings and all of the highlights you want, I'll take speedy over Shepard everyday of the week. Not putting down on Shepard at all, just my opinion as an observer

Dude, if you had never seen Shep in college and compared their HS tape, you would not say this.

His HS highlights are some of the best ever against the best competition.

Shep's HS film is one of the filthiest i've ever seen.

Speedy is more athletic with better hips. Both are extremely explosive.

I loved Shep's HS higlights. Unreal stuff. However, I don't recall ever seeing any footage of him as a WR, and most realistic projections had him ending up there.

Whereas, while Speedy plays QB & projects to WR, he has some of the most impressive camp catches I have ever seen.

Lightning fast, ultra-quick change of direction, smooth natural glue-hands, and ball skills to run perfectly under the ball, with sideline awareness. He's like Steve Smith in Desean Jackson's slender frame.

Guys, I've seen shep's HS highlights and yes they are mind boggling. Part of me is frustrated and wishes he would have had a better career here and the other part says speedy is cut from the same cloth with tremendous football instincts and is just that good. I believe LA football, especially the elite teams at the 4A and 5A level are right on par with TX high school football as far as athletes. TX just has more of them because it is bigger. Here's to hoping speedy becomes a tiger

I agree with this post completely. You will not find more speed and athletism per capita anywhere else, Texas just has more of it due to population.
