Lol… Dude you obviously don’t know Louisiana recruiting. See 90% of the talent here have dreamed of playing for LSU since they wore diapers. Let’s put it this way, when LSU had a decent coach, including Ed O, Alabama couldn’t come into Louisiana and get more than 1 or 2 players and most of those players, regardless of position ranking (5* 4* etc.), didn’t impact Bama positively or LSU negatively. LSU typically replaced that player with someone better.

If Nick Saban couldn’t regularly pluck talent from Louisiana while also offering them bags of cash and cars off the lot then I’m definitely not worried about the Texas shorthorns and some coach from the west coast. Look there might be a couple of “kids” who see the new shiny toy as something intriguing for a short while but after going to a couple of games and experiencing both environments, it’s game over. Remember getting these kids to commit to your school isn’t the end lol, you have to actually sign them.

If a little cash is the only thing Texas really has to offer and that is all they have to compete with LSU in recruiting then y’all in big trouble bro. A little cash doesn’t have staying power. I MIGHT work for a year or a few recruits but that’s it. In the SEC west, you have to do this every single year and Texas nor any other school can do that in Louisiana. It’ll simply take one year of this state or fanbase seeing that all we need is a little cash support to keep up and that cash will come pouring in, just to see Texas lose. I know people think this state is poor but we have the entire state to help not a city. We have no other school here. Like I said y’all might get away with it for a year or a few guys but once the people here see what’s going on, and are allowed to help by pouring money into it, that advantage will disappear just as quickly and could backfire on UT. Don’t get this state fired up and challenge them. We will show up in a big way.
