Darcy Malone on his Aussie team
Can he continue playing for the team now that he's signed or will he have to stop? Not sure how this works in terms of NCAA eligibility.

For that Aussire team yes, for te Australian national program no. I think he is the puzzle piece that depending on how good he is, he could make a huge differenece.

How much money does he get to play for that team? Weird how he can be signed to an NCAA college and still make money playing pro ball.

He just joined that team a couple weeks ago, getting used to them. He's not going to be some kind of 20/10 guy there, it's not NBA, but it's big boy aussie ball. Huge adjustment for him I'm sure.

He's played a total of 4 games with the team and had one 14/6 game.

His games are on YouTube from this team. I found his first game. He hasn't practiced much with the team and wasn't a big player. In the right situation he could be a solid role player. Not worried about the stats at all.
I'm not sure on his eligibility but I'd imagine he would have to stop. I'm excited about him.
EDIT: Malone played last night (This morning) for the Gunners. I believe it's still considered amateur and is able to play until he comes here.
I'd imagine on July 1 when rosters must be finalized would be a date that he has to stop by, but Im not sure.

Darcy has been on campus at LSU since June 1 and commenced summer school this week. He only played with the Canberra Gunners for a few months and retained amateur status whilst doing so. Interestingly, he was ranked in the Gunners top 100 players ever at their recent 25th anniversary, which isn't bad for a few months worth of games. NCAA have cleared Darcy as an amateur and he is excited about his future with LSU.
