So who does LSU go to get for running back?

Ashaad Clayton a Louisiana product, Zach Evans or jamyr Gibbs? Personally I would accept either one of their services. All are very good, hope LSU does not put all their eggs in one basket like a couple years ago at another position of need. Lsu has 3 quality guys but none have stepped up to fill ceh shoes yet.

Jacob Hester out of Richards Honda

Jeez, you’re only reinforcing negative stereotypes regarding the intellect of South Louisiana and Cajuns in general.

Is Clayton really supposed to sign with Colorado? I mean Boulder is beautiful and all but their football leaves a lot to be desired. Has LSU really even tried to recruit him?

Zach Evans is the priority at running back. He’s the best running back out of the state of Texas since Adrian Peterson.

Trust the coach’s, not the rankings or posters on td, just look what CEH was able to accomplish, if it was up to the posters here he would have never started.

Doesn't Cecil have some eligibility left since his career was abruptly cut short?

Depends where Evans lands. If Evans doesn't end up at LSU then Clayton will likely be the rb we take. Everything is contingent on Evans.

to me if Evan's doesn't sign during the early period then the first RB on our board that turns in the paper gets the spot.
No offense to him but you can't take a chance on him leaving you at the alter if CEH is gone and rumors of Curry leaving are true...

Hopefully that was just meant for a chuckle. If not, it’s wrong on at least 3 levels.

Ever considered that over the next two games Curry gets a chance to show some flash with CEH out and we find that Curry is a better back than we thought? I always felt he just needed a few chances to prove something in the game, because he runs SO hard and is pretty quick...We'll sign someone. Just not sold on Evans co.ing here due to his attitude issues and how he is playing all of the LSU and A&M.

ANY ONE of their services... EITHER applies and should be used only when talking about two things, not more than 2.
Lol, sorry man. Not trying to be an a-hole. That's just one of my pet peeves.

Gibbs and Clayton are nowhere near Evans. It's not even close. Evans has elite burst, agility, athleticism, everything about him is nearly at the top and his athleticism is proven in combine results so it's not just film.
That's your answer. Anyone other than Evans is way down the board. I would be shocked if LSU tried to get a second RB if they think Curry is leaving. If they get Evans then going after Gibbs or Clayton makes sense or obviously whiffing. 3 RBs on the roster next year is dangerous for a position that can easily get tore up in SEC play.
