Memphis is usually right but wrong here. Mayhawk Jelly, you are not awesome and basically an Aggie tool.

Idk much about the poster, but Mayhawk jelly(food) is the shite.

One more note on Sherm recruiting what another poster described as, for lack of a better term, second tier athletes I'll leave you with this. Two weeks ago Sherman signed a potential star from LA by the name of Floyd Raven. This year the Aggies are a heavy favorite to land his younger team mate, Darion Monroe.

Floyd Raven is a heck of a player and is a great "get" for y'all but the fact remains that (due to numbers) he was not offered by LSU.
He may go on to win the Heisman Trophy at aTm (and I wish him and y'all nothing but the best) but whatever you say it still comes out: No offer = scrap.

The point I'm trying to get at is that while Raven might not have necessarily been pursued by LSU, guys like Monroe (who is a heavy Aggie lean thanks in no small part to the Ag's signing Raven) likely will be.

Exactly. That's our point. If LSU wants a decent prospect from the state of Louisiana, LSU gets the player. Raven went to A&M because LSU didn't want him. Fobbs initially signed with A&M because LSU didn't want him. They had Mike Davis and Justin Hunter. when they decommitted, LSU wanted him. And he signed. this goes for the 3 Top 20 players (according to you) at your Junior Day. If LSU wants them, most likely they go to LSu. If not, we wish them the best and move on.

Again, Monroe hasn't been offered, and unless he has a good camp at LSU, I don't see it happening

You have no clue if LSu is pursuing Monroe. No offer yet. Raven won't mean squat if he gets the offer from LSU. A&M is his only legit program offer.

That is definitely a valid point, and it remains to be seen how strong the Aggies have built their pipeline at ESJ. We haven't offered Monroe yet, but I think it's coming, and if we do offer, it will be Frank Wilson and Ron Cooper on him, which gives me a lot of confidence in LSU getting him.

I hate when a program gets a player from a school and all of a sudden, they have a pipeline. I don't buy that. I know you can reference Thibodaux, but we squash that this year with Granier. You are assuming too much. Raven didn't deserve an offer and he didn't get one. It doesn't mean A&M has created a pipeline. What about the 2 star from ESJ that signed with Miss St. Should we be concerned about Miss St now too?? LSU with Frank Wilson in charge will get 80% or more of Louisiana targets regardless of location.

What exactly is your point here? Basically, what we are saying is Raven is 2nd tier to LSU, 1st to Aggies. Raven never impressed anyone but Rivals. All other sites has him as a 3 star. I am not saying he won't be good. Just don't go star gazing when only 1 site out of 5 had him rated high.

When you start recruiting with Mack at UT, then we can talk. A prominent program in Texas should be able to pull top 5 classes annally, especially a school as close to Houston as A&M.

I'm not a big Sherman fan. I live in Houston. This guy should be hammering this area and finishing no worse than top 10 but doesn't. Once we see A&M finish top 10, we can start to show some respect. 27 on rivals, 31 on Scout doesn't prevent us from saying you get 2nd tier players. With those rankings, it's more like 3rd tier.

Their starting center is also from ESJ. They are trying to establish a pipeline into Louisiana and already have a history at ESJ.

No one from ESJ has signed with Mississippi State in the last 9 years or so.

You don't know as much as you think you do about recruiting, stop talking down to people on here.

Wow. that's kind of scary with their 31st ranking class and all. that center will lead them to the promised land. idiots miss the point. They have a pipeline with 3 tier or 3 star players. Not legit players. Get over yourself and your Purdue degree.

Pipelines are based on relationships, regardless of how talented the players are. You don't strike me as a very intelligent person.
