So lets everybody shite on Pete Jenkins .

A man that came to the call of saban to help turn LSU around in 2000 because he loved LSU. Came out of retirement to help coach O because he loves LSU. Oh and coached dunbar also in the 80s. Now lil nickie is trying to harm our recruiting by telling a recruit to lie about him and smear his name. Im not buying it

Jenkins is elite. So is Dunbar. Jenkins doesn't recruit. Dunbar does.

Mathis is rationalizing his decision. It sounds good to say that Jenkins didn't care enough to recruit him. I don't buy it.

It's pretty well established that Austin Thomas recruits for Jenkins. That's a problem.

Jenkins was not allowed to recruit. They swapped his role for Austin Thomas according to 247. Back away from the ledge.

He also came out of retirement for USC. Don't leave that part out because it doesn't fit your motive.
