This is all too obvious IMO with his recent decommitment from ASU. I think the staff wants someone more in the typical LSU RB mold and also one who has abetter chance to contribute right away since we're losing 3 RBs more than likely.

Probably best for him. Fits their offense better, not as much to get in the way of him getting a lot of snaps.

Sione is a pretty small RB. We've seen the success of small RBs here (see Gore). I like this move, best for all parties.
Palelei is going to a system that fits him better and we get a better back for our system in Williams.

They do have Devon Thomas, who at one time was very much wanted by a few on this board. Thinks its more of a fit thing. That system fits his skillset.

Welp, that sucks. I liked Sione alot, but with LF coming this year and all the talent in the following years I think he saw a better chance somewhere else. Hope he lights it up in the Big XII
