Is it just me or does it seem that LSU rarely signs the full 25 per class while Alabama regularly signs 25 or more? I realize they like to use spots for transfers but I feel like it’s more than that.

25+25+25+25=100

85 roster limit
Do the math
It's not the end of the world if you undersign
That will allow transfers from portal to fill needs
Less processing of players than Bama

I still havent figured out the '25' bullshite... everyone says you simply cant sign over 25... but Bama does it, back to back... so smthg doesnt add up.
Not signing 25 isnt the end of the world.... especially if we can manage to sign more next year, bc clearly its possible

Parents really should help expose Saban’s revolving door sociopathy!

Saban is ruthless and deceitful

Its should be pretty simple to figure.

IF you ever have class that undersigns AND you regularly have a lot of early enroll kids then you can essentially carry those unused spots forward forever until you reduce them by over signing.

Bama is interesting because they seem to be exploiting a loophole. Apparently they get extra guys in by counting them as "replacements" for kids that leave the program early. They don't have them sign LOIs and they bring them in later. Not sure how that works.

Beyond that most of it is just looks. They signed 21 a couple years ago so they have 4 extra to sign somewhere over the next few years. As long as they always have early enroll kids they will be able to eventually fill those unused counters.

is correct. Miles tried to do this and LSU compliance wouldn't allow it.

Sometimes we're our own worst enemy.

National champs, don't care
