what a colossal failure by Coach O. He absolutely blew how he handled our CB recruiting. Losing Surtain is going to hurt, especially after leading for so long, but I wonder where we go from here. Do we save the 2 spots from Goodrich and Surtain for next year or do we use them this year on someone like Glen Beal and Justin Watkins? I would prefer to just keep those two spots personally and try to sign as many DBs possible next year

This will be LSU's worst recruiting class in the past 20 years, that is not an exaggeration. Coach O is a good D-line recruiter not a good Head Coach recruiter; big difference. Next year is a bumper crop of recruits for Louisiana which is a good thing....if your Alabama.

No one is blind. The Tigers lost a recruitment battle. Just like Miles lost Joe McKnight, Cam Robinson, Landon Collins, Tim Williams etc.
If Surtain were all LSU, all the time he would have ended the suspense long ago.
O is going up against 5 national titles and the GOAT college coach.

Maybe he’s going to Bama because he knows he’ll play in meaningful games like the SEC Championship, Playoff, and likely National Championship. At LSU he will be playing in the Alamo Bowl, Outback Bowl, or something similar.
Until LSU hires a good coach and gets relevant again, we will continue to lose elite recruits.
