From OB sounds like Green could flip

Cook is going to Texas. That's pretty obvious.
tell us how that is obvious?
His family wants him there + Herman doing a great job with the in-state class.

Houston Heights cornerback Jalen Green became the latest player to receive his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey.
The four-star prospect was honored in front of family and friends during a ceremony at his high school on Wednesday morning.
“It’s a dream come true,” Green said. “When I was a kid, I always wanted to play in the Army Bowl. It means a lot to honor our soldiers for what they are doing for us overseas. I can play the game they love to see.”
Green, one of the top defensive back prospects in the country, made his verbal commitment to Texas in mid-July over offers from various major programs.
So where do things stand now?
“I’m still 100 percent committed,” Green said. “It’s about loyalty. If I make a commitment, I am going to stick by it. You have my word.”
Green has been keeping a close eye on Texas this season. While the Longhorns are off to a 4-5 start, Green has been impressed with new defensive coordinator Todd Orlando and his unit.
“The defense is playing really well,” Green said. “I’ve been pretty impressed with them. They’ve been shutting down high-scoring offenses like Oklahoma State and TCU. The offense just needs to pick it up.”
Green will make an unofficial visit to Texas this weekend when the Longhorns take on Kansas. He is still working on scheduling his official visit.
At 6-foot, 171 pounds, Green is ranked as the No. 6 cornerback in the country and No. 5 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports Composite.

I think it's very important for us to land either Cook or Green.
1. We need CBs. We don't really know who is going to play alongside Greedy next year.
2. We need momentum against Texas in recruiting. Herman is going to build a monster if he continues to lock down the state. We'll lose our foothold and, instead, they'll start stealing Louisiana kids.

So how many can we sign this year again?
It’s crazy that we can still jump up to close to a top-5 class

Easternrio still taking it in the shorts I see.

We need to pair someone at corner with surtain if we get him, which is a strong possibility right now. A class of surtain, Washington, Joseph, and another good corner is an elite haul.

Still hearing it’s LSU or Ohio State. Everybody is grasping at straws rt now. He’s still undecided is the word.

A friend's kid goes to Lamar. Could be bullshitting me, but doubt it

Jalen would come to LSU, but they didn't recruit him as hard and still have not pushed for him they way Texas has. If they called him more, he would come to LSU no question, he loves LSU. Only reason we still have a chance is that they called him after he got hurt, hope they keep calling because the kid is special.
