Excellent evaluation by the coaching staff. Had a top flight QB throwing to him the entire time at school but took a chance on him and he looked like starting material as soon as next season. Not the coaches evaluation fault he tore his ACL. shite happens like that. Justin Vincent had huge freshman season, then tore his ACL, and was never the same again.

Where were all you pieces of shite after the florida state game when Byrd didn't catch a pass?
Why'd you just wait until he got by a blown coverage to score a touchdown?
Everyone has problems with the players they recruit not turning out as folks had planned. Yes, this includes Florida and USC. And those schools also let kids get away to lesser programs and leave us all wondering "how did they let that guy get away." Saban did it too when he was here. I hate all of you chicken littles.

Same frick up this year with taking Blackmon over Byran Jones. Jones is begging to come to LSU and he gets denied for someone who looks great in shorts and a tee shirt. Woohoo... 
Jones has the ability to take over games. I hope he goes to Oklahoma so LSU doesn't have to deal with him for 4 years at Arkansas, Ole Miss, or Auburn.

Next year at RB we would be fine with Ridley, murphy, ford, lache, and ware.
We will have a #1 and #2 receiver in TT and RR. We have plenty of guys who could compete for the 3rd spot. Look at RJ this year. He is stepping up when he is needed. The same will happen next year.

Seriously? We have people freaking out thinking we won't have RBs or WRs next year? When was the last time we couldn't run the ball or throw the ball (to good WRs)?

To me it's more frustration about passing on Byrd than taking Molton.
For one reason or another we have had a huge issue with WR's not panning out- mostly not getting eligible. So when you have an 6'4" athletic kid with good hands 50 minutes down the Mississippi begging for an offer and you pass? It's going to bring questions.

If Jones played in the Dome last year instead of in Little Rock for the state championships would he have an LSU offer?

Huh? Jones never even made it to campus to get an offer or be evaluated. What makes you think he's dying to come to LSU? He has routinely missed his own chances to come to LSU.

And we've already seen some things change in recruiting with the new coaches. We have been getting top classes. Until we stop getting them, people shouldn't be complaining.

And the only area LSU fans should complain about in recruiting is possibly LB recruiting which has always been weak recently.
Gosh I hope Maclin will be a LB and not grow into a DE.

Once again if he's dying to come to LSU why did he NEVER make it to campus for an eval?
