If it were DB I would say yes but not D line.

I agree. Put more stock into locking down everyone in state. Brandard Wright will be big.

Could be in line to get a good amount of safeties.

Good post, but which guys at the position do you see LSU look at and see commit to us?

You're missing Jalen Lee on the D-Line.

- Joel Williams (not sure if he’s going to be a CB or Safety.
- Jordan Toles
- Xavion Alford

To list a few. Could see another end up.

I think Xavion Alford is criminally underrated. I think he’s one of the best Safety’s in the country.

Outside shots:
Chris Thompson
R.J. Mickens
Lejond Cavasoz
Darius Snow

Don’t worry. Saban or someone else will grab the most important DLs in 2020. And O lovers will make excuses again.

Toles looks like he going to be a monster at safety with his size, and Joel Williams is a kid that could make an excellent safety too.

We really need to hold onto Jacquelin Roy bigtime, he can definitely play, and as big as he is, he is one kid that actually has the quickness to play DE at a high level too.

That’s why we keep losing the best ones. Bama fans are just as ignorant and racist, but smart enough to keep it to themselves.

Guillory of ASH is a must get since we will need depth along the D line. Watched him play this past season and he immediately stands out.

McKinley Jackson is a beast no doubt. I think It will come down to LSU, Alabama, Auburn and the In-State schools

I cannot remember the last time a recruit from that part (George County, Wayne County, not the Coast) of Mississippi signed with LSU. They usually lean more to in-state.

State or Bama . Hate to say it unless somebody does something about cheating Nick we will finish second in a lot of these battles. Wasn’t Jackson. Omitted to us until he visited Bama . I may be wrong on this one as far as if he visited Bama. Asking?

Baton Rouge is about 3 1/2 hours from Lucedale. Tuscaloosa probably a little further for him.

Far as I'm concerned Jacobian Guillory is definitely a must get.

There's 2 dlinmen in the 2020 class who are just as athletic and big as any in this years class (without mentioning names) and 1 is already committed and the other is Guillory.

Under the radar recruit Sonny Hazard ‘20 from Jesuit NO. 6’2” 290 has offers from all in state schools and if he shows out senior year will definitely be on D1 radars. Dad was John Hazard and uncle was Nick hazard.

I wouldn't waste my time on Jackson. LSU doesn't do well with Mississippi kids recently at least. Focus on all of the D lineman in Louisiana and lock them down. If we can't get the numbers then worry about out of state. I know he is a 5 star but at some point the staff needs to learn we aren't going to win out of state battles with Bama. May be defeatest attitude but it is what it is.

So just give up?

That is it? That is a horrible attitude. Do you tell your kids to quit on things too?

Giving up is the wrong thing to do, this is LSU! Like Coach Eaux said, “Were coming, and we aint backing down” We’re trying to win SEC and National titles. If you want to be the best, you have to go for the best. You win some and you lose some. That’s the nature of the beast in recruiting.

As far as Mississippi kids go, LSU has had success recruiting the coast as far back as the 80’s. Also, Myles Brennan and the Dickson brothers told me to tell you hello.
