Its no secret that Saban is a complete a-hole. He wants top talent and will say anything to get it even it means totally fricking over his commitments. You would think it would catch up with him, but considering he is the godfather of college football it hasn't.

If Shorty is smart he'll retire while he's on top; if he doesn't, expect a Woody Hayesque/Bobby Knight meltdown where he doesn't just frick over a recruit as described in the article, but chokes one on the sidelines.

Saban did it to LSU, signed and signed and back in 2005 Miles first class all we could sign was 11

I wonder where all that "HONOR" was when a little known oil changer and former LSU fan suddenly had enough money to host parties for HS football players in excess of $10,000.
Then still could afford to take off work and drive recruits to AU campus.

It is no different than when a kid is verbal all the up to signing day then switches his commitment.
