I know Chris and he is not going anywhere but LSU. When he committed to LSU we all had an LSU cake at the Courthouse.

Trust me on this one the kid is not going anywhere.

Find out what Chris has to say about William Campbell.

Have that report on our desk first thing in the morning.

Look, I am a sales manager and have many salesmen working for me. Any salesman worth their paycheck, doesn't take no for an answer. They find a different angle, keeping checking their pulse, and stay on top of it to the end. A good salesman does face defeat and cut losses when times are good because time is finite. Saban is just being a good salesman. So, is Les. Pitch hard, follow up, pitch again, shape the deal, close the order.

Recruiting players that havent showed interest in your program just because they are at LSU is sonmething else. We as fans have a right to our opinion even if you dont agree with it. Keep coming to a LSU board and you will find that a lot being the Gump you are.

Obviously your hate for all things related to Saban and Bama is keeping you from being rational, and that's fine. You apparently have a strong belief in this theory that Saban is going to try and recruit a kid just to take him away from LSU so I'll let you live in that fantasy world if it helps you sleep at night. Of course everyone has opinions, and I don't mind opinions that are rational.

And for the record, I've been around TD longer than you have but don't post as much. I've actually had some pretty good discussions on here about football, recruiting, etc. with your fellow fans. But by all means, if it makes you feel better call me a Gump and try to lump me in with the other large percentage of other fans who come on here to start shite, then go for it cool guy.

Where's the Alabama fans to tell us that "Saban is relentless"? Relentlessly stupid is what he is. This is the lock of all locks.

Thats why Saban has been known as a relentless recruiter. Did you not think that he would be back to an area that he knows well and has a relationship with coaches just b/c it is LSU country? Maybe it was part of the reason (besides the money and less pressure) that he went back to a nearby SEC school.

He probably thought that he could get the best talent in Bama and get some of the best talent in LA., b/c he already has connections in LA. Saban came to Monroe during his tenure as the Dolphin's HC as a guest speaker and one of his first stops during his first weeks of being Bama's HC was to the Monroe area for recruiting. (he got one player from that stop and almost got another that later signed with LSU). People in that area respect him, b/c of the number of kids he put in a LSU uniform from there. He even put an ex LSU player from Monroe on his staff ( Rob Sale).

Even Don Shows was sporting a Bama hat sometimes during practices. To give some insight into Shows demeanor, he wore a LSU hat when Charlie Weiss came to WM on a recruiting trip. Jacob Hester was seen in a Bama shirt and hat around Shreveport, also.

I hope that LSU does not lose recruits to Saban, but Nick will be in their ear until signing day, b/c he still has respect in LSU country, especially N LA. Les needs to take notice of who he is dealing with and stay on these guys, b/c if he doesn't, Nick has a chance with them, especially with Bama winning.

Never said you started shite..I just made a post and you ..well started shite.
You try to belittle LSU fans on a LSU board like you are above them..You arent Gump...If you were a real Bama fan you'd be talking football with other Bama fans and having a good time instead of coming here looking for an argument.

For someone as small and slow as Highsmith was it is amazing that he performed at such a high level while at LSU. I would say that his ability and potential were maximized during his time here at LSU. If anything he would be a testement to good coaching.

Jeeze, just stop it. That kid literally has LSU in his veins. Saban isn't that powerful no matter how much you may want him to be.

tigerfoot's question - "if your goal is to go to the NFL"

Dorsey - KC
Steltz - Chicago
Jackson - Atlanta
Zenon - Cincinnati (Bengals waived Zenon(hamstring) with an injury settlement. )
Highsmith - Arizona

Landry played 2 years under Miles, and was the 6th overall pick in the 07 draft.
